Belshes
Belshes
Clan Belshes of that Ilk in Roxburghshire, Scotland. The family is said to derive and originated from the French village of Bellasis, in Seine-et-Marne, but as they are definitely related to the Belcher family of England, it more likely the name comes from the nickname bel chere, French for fair-faced.
