Clan Munro of Foulis, Ross-shire, Scotland. Descended from Donald of Fearainn Domhnuill, who received lands from Malcolm II of Scotland for aiding against Viking invaders. Sir Hector Munro, Chief of the Clan was created Baronet of Nova Scotia in 1634.
