Clan Davidson or Clan Dhai of Badenoch, Scotland. Descended from David of Nuide (c. 14th century), son of Slane, daughter of Angus, 6th Laird of Macintosh and Eva, heiress of Clan Gilliechattan. Of this family was Sir Robert Davidson, Provost and Kings Customer who was killed at the Battle of Harlaw in 1411.
